Depth you can trust.
A 3D camera that measures the distance to every point in a scene, and tells you which readings it can't trust. Built for decisions where a wrong reading is not an option.
Depth cameras get fooled, and they don't say so.
Glass, water, wet floors and metal bounce light around. Dust, smoke and spray scatter it. A standard depth sensor reports the wrong distance as if it were correct.
The system downstream has no way to know. A robot, a vehicle or a gate acts on bad data with full confidence. For anything autonomous, knowing a reading is bad is worth more than the reading.
It reads geometry, not a flat picture.
Every point comes back with a distance attached. Two inventions sit on top of that.
It knows when it doesn't know
The sensor tells light that came straight back apart from light that took the long way round. Readings it can't vouch for get flagged, so the system slows down instead of guessing.
Sharper from the same chip
Low-cost depth sensors are coarse. Ours pulls more detail out of the same hardware, done electronically with no moving parts.
Brings its own light
Works in total darkness. Because it measures real shape, a photo or a screen can't pass for a person or an object.
Where a wrong reading costs something.
Checkpoints and secure entry
Two people on one authorization is a geometry problem, not a guess. A flat photo or screen has no depth and can't spoof it.
Perimeter and border
Detects and measures movement in total darkness with its own light source.
Ports and cargo
Measures the actual interior volume of containers and trailers instead of estimating it.
Unmanned systems and robotics
Depth data that comes with a confidence check, so drones, vehicles and robots don't act on a bad reading.
Warehouses and factories
Load measurement and machine guidance around shiny, wet and reflective surfaces.
Degraded visibility Under evaluation
Search and rescue, firefighting and scene documentation in dust and smoke. Performance in these conditions has not yet been measured, and we are looking for test partners.
We license. We don't manufacture.
Luxor Verde licenses the technology to integrators, OEMs and system builders who already make and sell hardware.
We tell you plainly what has been tested and what hasn't. The first question any engineer asks is what the test conditions were, and we'd rather answer it up front.
Custom sensors and medical devices, built to your spec.
The team behind our depth camera also builds sensing hardware for medical device companies and OEMs. You bring the requirement. We take it from concept to a working device that's ready for manufacturing, under your brand.
Temperature monitoring
Continuous body and skin temperature sensing in wearable patches, bands and probes.
Blood oxygen and vitals
Pulse oximetry (SpO2), heart rate and other optical vital-sign sensing.
Wearables
Low-power devices that pair with iOS and Android apps and run for days on a charge.
Industrial and environmental
Temperature, gas, pressure and proximity sensors for equipment, facilities and cold chain.
Optical and depth sensing
Time-of-flight and 3D vision modules built on our own platform.
Firmware, apps and data
Embedded firmware, the mobile app and the cloud dashboard behind the device.
Sensors that catch problems at home, before the patient calls.
Home dialysis moves care out of the clinic, and with it the nurse who would have noticed a fever or a cloudy bag. We build the sensors that put those signals back in front of the care team, under your brand and feeding the remote monitoring platform you already run.
Early infection warning
A wearable temperature patch that tracks a patient's baseline and flags a rise early. Fever is one of the first signs of peritonitis and exit-site infection.
Drain line clarity monitor
An optical sensor on the drain line that checks effluent clarity on every exchange and flags a cloudy bag the night it happens, not at the next clinic visit.
Oxygen and heart rate between treatments
Continuous SpO2 and heart rate from a comfortable wearable, with trends sent to the clinician dashboard.
Fluid status at home
Weight, blood pressure and ankle and leg swelling measured with our 3D depth sensing, so fluid overload shows up as a trend line instead of a hospital admission.
Acute and critical care
Bedside sensors for extracorporeal circuits: temperature, flow and leak detection built into disposables or clip-on modules.
Plugs into your platform
Data goes to your existing remote monitoring system and patient app through a secure feed. Your brand, your platform, your clinical workflow.
How a project runs
For medical devices, we work with your regulatory team and accredited test labs on the FDA or CE pathway and build the design and test documentation that clearance needs. All work is done under NDA.
- Scope and feasibilityRequirements, sensor selection, cost targets and a go or no-go.
- PrototypeWorking hardware, firmware and app you can put in people's hands.
- Test and validateBench and field testing against your spec, with the data written up.
- Hand off to manufacturingProduction-ready design files and support through the first build with your contract manufacturer.
See it under NDA.
Tell us who you are and what you'd use it for. Qualified partners get:
- A live demo
- Measured performance data
